The Poetry Path
Walk through a landscape shaped by art, words and community. Discover sculptures and poetry set among woodlands, moorland and riverbank. The Corbenic Poetry Path is a free circular walk created by residents, artists and volunteers. It invites visitors to slow down, listen and notice what surrounds them.
Each turn reveals something new: a line of verse carved in stone, a sculpture rising from the trees, a view across the River Braan. The path was made to be walked gently, to offer space for reflection and a quiet connection with nature and the people who live here.

A map for walking and wondering
Find your way around the Corbenic Poetry Path using the map below.
It shows the circular route that winds through the grounds of Corbenic Camphill Community, tracing woodlands, open moor and riverbank.
The path begins near the car park and follows gentle terrain with occasional slopes.
Please stay on the marked route at all times, as the wider community grounds are private and home to adults with learning disabilities.
You can walk the full 3.5-kilometre loop or take one of the shorter paths shown.
Whichever route you follow, take your time. Notice the words and sculptures that appear along the way and let the landscape speak for itself.

Along the way
The path changes with every step and every season.
